Construction Update for the end of week 7

Works continued this week with the installation of the new footpath along the southern side of Hosier Lane, alongside freshly painted bollards throughout the area.

Concrete infill paving has also now been completed between the Forum Theatre building line and the newly installed kerb within Hosier Lane.

With these works progressing well, the majority of the Stage 1 construction zone has now reopened for public access.

Looking Ahead – Week of 25 May to 29 May

Grouting between the new footpath pavers in Hosier Lane is scheduled to commence on Monday morning, 25 May.

Once the grouting works are complete, construction crews will return their focus to Rutledge Lane, continuing kerb and paving works within the Stage 2 zone.

They were doing the “laneways thing” and impressed to find our festival recycling hub. It’s a global problem of where do people who really want to be sure their recycling efforts are effective can go. @hosier.inc.melb is keen to do more of this type of activation #zerowasteFestival
