Zero Waste Festival 2026: This Year, 'Bring It' to Hosier Lane.
On Saturday 12 September 2026, Hosier Lane will become the Zero Waste Festival’s dedicated Hard-to-Recycle Recycling Centre, with Hosier Inc partnering with Zero Waste Victoria and specialist recyclers to give Melburnians one convenient place to deal with some of those frustrating things that simply cannot go into the household recycling bin. Laneway Works Underway.
Hosier Lane and Rutledge Lane are entering an important new chapter. Renewal works are now underway, led by Citywide on behalf of the City of Melbourne, to refresh, repair and strengthen the laneways for everyone who lives, works, creates and visits here.
